Storytelling

The identity design for OCT-LOFT’s fifteenth anniversary begins by acknowledging the site’s own timeline. Since the opening of the South Zone in 2006 and the full completion in 2011, the park has continued to expand—drawing in creative studios and cultural organisations, nurturing design, contemporary art, and experimental music, and gradually forming a cultural ecosystem that links creativity with technology and tourism. Growth here has unfolded steadily, layer by layer.

The anniversary identity centres on a primary mark built from fifteen O shapes arranged as a rising stair—a graphic expression of OCT-LOFT’s cumulative growth and forward momentum. Extending from this gesture, the system adopts fifteen repeated L, O, F, and T units that can appear in simple sequences to signal the fifteenth year, or shift into staggered compositions that echo the site’s evolving architecture, the activity of its creative residents, and the interactions sparked by its public programmes.

Across these fifteen years, OCT-LOFT has developed a layered visual and cultural texture—one that continues to shift as new spaces, practices, and ideas arrive. The identity sits within this ongoing movement, not as a summary, but as another layer added to the park’s evolving design landscape.
