“CindereMa” reworks the Cinderella myth: instead of becoming a princess, she becomes a mother the moment she marries a mama’s boy. Framing the marriage as a staged, fictional wedding, the project turns traditional wedding items into objects that reveal the emotional dependence and invisible labour embedded in such relationships.
Styled in a bright, Barbie-like aesthetic, the work contrasts glossy fantasy with the reality of caretaking expectations—inviting viewers, especially unmarried women, to recognise and question the dynamics of marrying a giant-baby husband.
